Today we have Moon Priestess Diana Bonnici sharing The Power of Energy & Mindfulness. The May Moon is called Full Flower Moon. Flowers spring forth in abundance this month. Other names are Budding Moon, Egg Laying Moon, Frog Moon, Leaf Budding Moon, or Planting Moon. 🙏

May’s flower moon will be in Scorpio. This flower moon will definitely be intense. This moon asks us to be vulnerable so we can become more intimate with ourselves and others. This is a time to give up what doesn’t serve us. It is an opportunity to make our way to continue to expand and evolve. The name of this moon is fitting because every flower starts out as a seed, buried in the dark, damp soil.

Nature knows that darkness has its purpose and will lead us to the light. It can send us into deep emotional, spiritual and sexual connection and healing. Its energy gives us a clear path into things we can’t normally see. Take this time to heal trauma, access Akashic Records or just get some deep sleep. It is time for soul retrievals, psychic healing, karmic healing and increased psychic ability. 😍

Deeply listen and write down your commitments for May. Here are some questions to ask as we set our I AM commitments:

    • What truly motivates me?
    • What habits can I release that need to die to create new ways of being for the future?
    • What interests or hobbies do I have that can fuel my spirituality in creative ways? What habit can I start now to bring more creativity into my life?
    • Visualize what I want my life to look like. Using all five senses, write about it in detail.
    • What relationships feed my soul? What relationship do I need to let go of, set boundaries or change?
    • What is my favorite way I distract myself? Can I let go?
    • What commitments would I like to achieve by the next Full Moon? (Keep them small and actionable)
    • How can I find more joy during this lunar cycle? How can I slow down and live in the present moment?

Sound Healing
This month we are going to explore another form of Deep Listening. Sound healing is an ancient meditative practice that uses different implements to create healing vibrations, harmonics and frequencies in the body in a meditative state. Some people use Quartz crystal bowls and Gongs tuned at strategic frequencies for healing different parts of the body and mind. Other vibrations used are flute, acoustic sounds, voice, nature or water sounds. Sound baths are a type of inactive meditation, where you “bathe” in the healing vibrations of sound. 🥰

Sound healing synchronizes brain waves to achieve profound states of relaxation, helping to restore the normal vibratory frequencies of the cells in our bodies. The adult body is 75% water, and water is a great conductor for sound vibration. When vibrations travel through the body, they promote circulation, energy flow, and rejuvenation. The frequency of the sound synchronizes with the brainwaves and activates de-stress responses in the body.

Sound Healing helps activate the body’s natural healing system for deep restorative healing on a cellular and emotional level. The harmonizing effect produced by the sound creates a soothing effect throughout the entire body.

For our May New Moon Ritual, bring your I AM Commitments. To create your own sound bath experience, take a Tibetan singing bowl. Then, gently strike the edge of the bowl with a mallet. Let your mind focus on the sound and the intention you set as the note gently fades. There are many amazing singing bowl sound recordings on the internet that you can use. ✅ Begin with smudging your sacred space
✅ Get Comfortable
✅ Read your I AM Commitments to set your Intention
✅ Maintain Concentration + Deep Breaths. Be present
✅ Relax and let the sound envelop you
✅ Feel the connection with the vibration through your body
✅ After the sound bath, gently sit up
✅ Feel gratitude and set the Commitments for this month
✅ Gassho or bow for a closing of this sacred time
✅ Write in your journal any thoughts, feelings and/or emotions

I invite you to practice sound healing throughout this month. You can use other YouTube videos, or listen to the sound of water or nature. Find a sound that speaks to your soul.
